Kate Aughey
In 2009 I completed an MA in Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts, London and previously attended Kingston University where I received a BA Hons degree in Fine Art. I am currently working from my space in The Arches Studios, Southampton. In 2008 I was awarded the Capmark bursary by The Society of Wildlife Artists. Other achievements include being selected for the Association of Illustrators ‘Images 33’ annual and exhibition, being Highly Commended at The Cheltenham Illustration Awards 2009 and becoming a finalist in the Aesthetica Magazine Creative Works Competition. Alongside my illustration practice, I develop community arts workshops for organisations such as The Making, Creative Partnerships, Arts & Business, the Ashcroft Arts Centre and The Nuffield Theatre.
